BE-JEWELED

This weird climate doesn't seem to end yet...
and so strangely, the weather got quite warm again
which makes it hard to imagine that it's the end of October.

For these hot days, I was inspired to pull out my summer pieces
to take comfort in breezy layers, and I opted for this beautiful jewel-printed coat
which I fell in love for the first sight at Red Valentino.

COLOR LOVE

Though the air is getting chilly, leaves haven't turned into red yet
in Tokyo.

But as of late, it feels very much like winter here
that gets me feel ready for cold season.
So I couldn't help playing  with thicker items in a rich color ombre.
This set-up suit is one of my best purchases in this season,
I'm so in love with the chic sculptural design and the gradation of
winter colors.

HAPPY SHINY WEEKEND!!

Sorry for the lack of posts last week...

We had horrible weather almost in the whole week,
raining. raining, raining and again, doubled typhoon struck Tokyo.
........................

Anyway, finally today, the sun came back
and I stored the wellies back and pulled out my super favorite
Louboutin high-heel boots even I decided to go for brunch by this bike
with spikey pedals!

POWER ITEMS FOR MAKE-UP

I've been in love with Tom Ford make-up items lately.
They surely have a kind of psychological effect.
Among them, I rely on two eyeshadow palettes that
work very well with my complexion;
Cognac Sable & Seductive Rose.
Every time I use them, I feel empowered and so encouraged.

Also with a deep red lip (Nars satin lip pencil palais royal),
the mood enhances inside my heart and I can act like a
different...more confident person!

What are your favorite items that you always rely on?

THE BORDEAUX OMBRE

Happy weekend, everyone!

It was pretty gloomy this week in Tokyo,
To add something lush to rainy and somber weekend,
I opted this lined tweed jacket.

Burgundy is one of my favorite colors for Fall.
It's incredibly versatile,
and this time I paired shades of red from the top to the bottom
to complete this bordeaux ombre.

COZY PLACE

Lately, we've had some bizarre weather extremes.

Last week It was as hot as summer days,
and after that the temperature dropped overnight and
unstable air brought a huge typhoon (biggest in this decade)
that struck Tokyo Wednesday morning with soaking rains and strong winds.

Looking outside from a window, I decided to stay at home while raining.

Working in my room, reading books...
Unexpectedly, this weird weather gave me some refreshment in the end.

ORIGAMI PUPPET

I have long been obsessed by the design of Carven since it launched.
I love the unique and sophisticated design that Guillaume Henri creates.

Though it's French brand, this dress somewhat reminded me of
an origami puppet by the cropped, boxy silhouette.
Long long time ago.....when I was just four or five,
my granny often taught me how to fold origamis.
She had remarkable talent to make lovely work from a small,
square sheet of paper.

CHECK MATE!

Happy weekend,guys!!

'Checker' items are the eye catching trend this fall,
and you can find quite many lovely pieces in houndstooth, simple gingham,
or Burberry icon check...etc...
They are so versatile, those patterns allow the wearer to be nice
and edgy without effort.

This zara blazer is one of my personal favorites because of the standard
shapes and the black tones down the tartan a little.
 It looks so perfect :)
